Roofing applications

With help from several roofing contractors, we developed our first roof vacuum, the Hurricane 655. Since that time, the Hurricane™ has become the roofing contractor’s choice for a high quality, high production, low maintenance, affordable roof vacuum. |

Industrial Vacuum’s Hurricane™ trailer mounted models 600E, 655, and 755 are the three models that work best for this application. All three units provide 6.200 m3/h vacuum airflow, the 600E and 655 are 126 kW (170 HP) diesels, the 755 has more powerful 166 kW (225 HP) turbo charged diesel. All three units can vacuum pea gravel or 50-80 mm river rock (ballast) up to 300 meters. The 755 pulls harder at those longer distances. |

All Hurricane roof vacuums automatically discharge vacuumed material into any dump truck, dumpster or container up to 3,3 m high (up to 2,7 m is standard on all models). High reach package is available on models. |

Painting & Sandblasting applications

Extremely high-powered, portable and environmentally friendly vacuums have become a necessity in the industrial painting and sandblasting industry. With the new regulations and larger jobs being performed, the contractors have found a need for Hurricane™ vacuum loaders. Vacuuming sand, steel grit, black beauty or any other abrasive can be done at distances up to 300 meters. |

The Hurricane models 500E, 755, and 828 all have the powerful vacuum pumps that are required to perform such a task. These units will load any container to a full size dumpster automatically and most importantly - they can do it with no dust emissions. We offer several options, such as skid-mounted or electric vacuums, to meet any special requirements. HAZ Waste applications

All Hurricane models are available with a hazardous waste package. This is ideal for asbestos, lead or contaminated soil clean up. The hazardous waste package includes a hydraulic auger, Hepa filtration and our patented fully automatic dust free discharge valve. Ideal for filling hazardous waste bags inside a dumpster as shown. |
